Pacific Shores Resort & Spa Announces Parksville Uncorked Wine & Food Festival Gala Events

Nanoose Bay, BC – Pacific Shores Resort & Spa is proud to once again participate in the 2nd annual Parksville Uncorked Wine & Food Festival, taking place Thursday February 25 to Sunday February 28, 2010.
This year's festival promises to be the most exciting yet, with tastings from over 25 BC wineries, delicious culinary functions featuring Wine Makers from across the province, the best of Vancouver Island fare and the signature event, Swirl, featuring fine wines, gourmet cuisine and live entertainment.
As a main sponsor and founding partner of the annual Parksville Uncorked Wine & Food Festival, Pacific Shores Resort & Spa will host gala events, including a Wine Maker's Dinner and Wine Pairing Dinner with Wine Maker Tom DiBello from CedarCreek Estate Winery.
On Friday afternoon, The Landing West Coast Grill will host a reception with Wine Maker Tom DiBello from CedarCreek Estate Winery. Advance reservations are required, as seating is limited. On Friday evening, Pacific Shores Resort & Spa and The Landing West Coast Grill will present exquisite West Coast fare at the Festival's signature event, Swirl, at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort.
On Saturday evening, The Landing West Coast Grill will offer an intimate reception featuring CedarCreek Estate Wines paired with locally inspired ocean wise appetizers. Winemaker Tom DiBello will be on hand to talk about his wines at CedarCreek Estate Winery as well as the wine industry in the Okanagan.

Tom DiBello is a graduate of the University of California, Davis – one of the top wine schools in the world. Mr. DiBello’s prior experience includes winemaking at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in Napa, Cape Mentelle in Margaret River, Australia and several other wineries in California, Arizona and Washington State.
The Landing West Coast Grill is Pacific Shores Resort & Spa's award-winning restaurant boasting a private wine cellar. The Landing West Coast Grill hosts regular sold out Wine Maker's Dinners, Brew Master's Dinners and a highly anticipated food and wine seminar, Wine Maker's dinner and presents at the Opening Gala Signature event, Swirl, during the Parksville Uncorked Wine & Food Festival each year.
